“The Trailer Park” will be filming on location in Roanoke, Virginia during the month of October. Non-union rates.
All roles are Caucasian with Southern accents unless otherwise noted.
SARA - 18-24. Attractive, looks younger than her age. Quiet demeanor, rarely thinks of her own needs. For Sara raising children is the best one could hope for in life. Her only remaining family is her grandfather, MR. STANLEY, who is quite ill. Naïve about men and the ways of the world. Her main interests in life are children, horoscopes and dolphins. Backside and profile nudity required. Shoots 25-30 days.
ANGEL – Late 30s-55. She is a large, brash, self-centered woman. Always wears cheap loose fitting clothing and has a very unkempt appearance. She has a small, yappy dog, NOODLES, that she typically carries around with her. She blames other people for her problems and never takes responsibility for herself. Her life is centered around her trailer and her TV shows; she could truly care less about what’s going on outside the trailer park. Shoots 7-14 days. Should have relatively open availability in October as shoots dates are subject to change.
MR. STANLEY – 55-60+. Tall and emaciated. He is a cancer survivor, though he tries to hide his condition. His only remaining family is his granddaughter Sara. Quiet man, who has lead a full life and seen much of what the world has to offer. Shoots 3-6 days.
MR. GRUBER – 30-55+. European or British accent preferable. Porn shop employee/owner. Though he is a flamboyant dresser and stands apart appearance wise from the rest of our cast, a sleazy character hides just under the surface of this man. He’s someone whom even when smiling can make you uncomfortable with the look in his eyes. Implied homosexuality. Shoots 1-3 days.
